Bible Study
If you take the Sermon on the Mount and overlay it with the book of James, you’ll find oodles of connection. Penned by the half-brother of Jesus, James sounds more like Jesus than any other New Testament writer. The short letter is packed with doable and down-to-earth teaching, golden treasures of wisdom, and a timely call for believers everywhere to grow into maturity.
Join beloved Bible teacher, Margaret Feinberg, in a rich, fresh study of James that will uncover the genuine markers of real faith, equip you to break free from old patterns by developing new practices, and discover how the Father of heavenly lights treasures you.

Leif and I just celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary. In full disclosure, Leif was sick, but we still managed to slip away (even if it included masks).
Think about this: I’ve lived with the same man for t-w-e-n-t-y years.
Yet I just learned of something he’s been doing for years and NEVER told me.

As a writer, I spend a lot of time in a room all by myself. Honestly, it gets lonely. I definitely have introverted tendencies, but I LOVE people.
When I sit for days on end wrestling with ideas and research and scripture, I can start to wonder, Will anyone see what I’m seeing? Will this idea connect? Will this Jesus-aha! moment be as meaningful to them as it is to me?
I sit alone, thinking of you, praying for you, longing to connect with you. . . .

One of the pastors’ wives shared that she’d been opening her life to the power and work of the Holy Spirit. Asking God to use and lead her.
