As a writer, I spend a lot of time in a room all by myself. Honestly, it gets lonely. I definitely have introverted tendencies, but I LOVE people.
When I sit for days on end wrestling with ideas and research and scripture, I can start to wonder, Will anyone see what I’m seeing? Will this idea connect? Will this Jesus-aha! moment be as meaningful to them as it is to me?
I sit alone, thinking of you, praying for you, longing to connect with you. . . .
That’s why getting your emails and Instagram/Facebook comments, and seeing you in person at events is so wildly meaningful.
I get to look in your eyes, hug your neck, and see you!
