Hey friend,

This past weekend, I had the privilege of being part of The Jubilee Gathering in Lehi, Utah, which helps introduce people to studying the Bible. Many of those gathered share a different faith, and the discussion and questions were fascinating. It was so fun to talk about Jesus :).

Toward the end of the day, someone came up and said, “you have to see this!” That’s when my jaw dropped. Check out this photo . . .

The clouds formed a heart right over the gathering. It almost looks like two angel wings or lungs in the center.

I share this because sometimes I think we forget the power of studying the Bible. That this precious book is God’s love letter to us–to breathe hope and life and wisdom and clarity. To engage in a conversation with us. To whisper eternal somethings of His love.

Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
I have summoned you by name; you are mine. Isaiah 43:1

As your calendar fills for the fall, remember the importance of gathering with others to study the Bible–especially those who may have never studied Scripture before. Fling open your doors, usher invites to neighbors and friends, and know every moment that God’s heart of love shines over you.

If you’re looking for some fun Bible studies to consider, check out Wonderstruck: Awaken to the Nearness of God (filmed in Banff, Canada!) and Fight Back With Joy: Celebrate More, Regret Less, and Stare Down Your Greatest Fear. Both are available as DVDs and streaming on Vimeo.

Much love!
