I love reading about women in the bible. I always thought after I got divorced I was like the women in the well…I couldn’t understand how God actually would give me tI’m to talk and now I see he loves me so much and I am so worth more than I could imagine. I was not proud of my wrongdoings and I’ve been divorced 14 years, however this last year I finally understood I can forgive myself b e cause of God’s love for me.. this is a book I would love to read.

Haven’t read anything from her in years. Always enjoyed her writing. I one time heard her speak and will never forget the wet nail polish/pantyhose story. I was to be at She Speaks but due to my dad terminal cancer I knew I needed to cancel. He is in heaven now and I am at home working through the grief. On top of this my hubby is out of the country for 3 weeks it’s just God and I.
This looks like a wonderful study to do with my daughter and daughter in law. We are finding that Bible study is a wonderful way to bond. And what a wonderful way to do it with women of the Bible!

When I was little girl back in the 50’s, there was a show on tv called ‘Queen for a Day’. Three contestants would be interviewed telling the host their ‘story’ and why they would like to win all the prizes and be crowned “Queen” for a day. The audience was the judge. When all contestants shared their stories, the host would point to each contestant and the audience would applause their choice. At home in the TV screen, you could see the applause meter and determine who would win. Fun. I loved that show. I loved the stories. I loved someone wiuld be Queen. I have a King! Jesus! And He has made me feel like a Queen for eternity! Love & hugs!

Let me rephrase that, this is one of my favorite authors. I had the privilege and honor to meet her on a cruise many years ago and since have been able to see her again. Everything she writes be it fiction or not is inspirational and will help you with your life

This would be great! The craziest part is that Proverbs 31 had a devotional 7/21 about being bold and used the Queen of Sheba and Solomon as an example! I have been reading and writing in my journal about them for over a week! It is not a coincidence – it’s a Godincidence!
My first encounter with one of Liz’s books was 20 years ago when I was in college. Life trajectory changed forever. So grateful for how God uses her gifts. <3

I have had a chance to study under Liz at my former church in Louisville. She is one of the first teachers I heard be transparent with her story, just lay her past life out there for others to learn from. She is authentic and teaches in a way that helps us look at our own relationship with Christ realistically and move forward with intention in our own journeys. I would enjoy knowing how I can relate the Queen of Sheba to other women in my sphere of influence.
