The Secret to Organizing Your Prayer Life

I have a confession: I’m not the most well-planned gal.

Oh. Wait. You probably already knew that. As a creative, my organizational skills exist somewhere. I can just never find them.

I’ve been quite disheveled lately for a variety of reasons. But when I am out of sorts, e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g is out of sorts.

My prayer life becomes uneven. My anxiety spikes. My house looks like aliens invaded and had a heyday. (Maybe that’s where the sticky spots on the floor came from).

My friend, Rebecca, knew I needed an organizational intervention. So she sent me her Well-Planned Prayer Planner.

Well Planned Planner

At first, I thought it was just about prayer…but it’s about getting rid of the disheveled in your life. And I’m so grateful.

It’s got places for the daily schedule plus sections for your daily schedule, to-do-lists, appointments, meal planning, and yes—places even self-care.

There are sections for Household Needs & Dreams, Monthly Projects, and Chores for Kiddos. Then she adds in quotes from C.S. Lewis, Oswald Chambers, and other wisdom alongside Scripture.

Well Planned Prayer Inside

Why do I share all this?

Because maybe you’ve been feeling a little overwhelmed, disheveled, and hosted a surprise alien heyday, too.

If so, we’re in this together.

I’m having to recalibrate, slow, and recognize that those 24 hours in a day don’t budge. I can only do what I can do and must release the rest…and embrace true rest.
