A RECIPE FOR SOUL CARE

Current research shows that spending just 20 minutes near/in nature several times a week can decrease the level of cortisol, the stress hormone, in a person’s body. This is not exercise or work outdoors…this is 20 minutes of leisurely strolling or simply sitting.

If your daily schedule is overwhelming, then consider changing the location of something you already do, something that’s already a part of your routine. For instance, drink your morning coffee outside instead of inside.

You could take 20 minutes before work to take a stroll or to sit outside before starting your day. It’s not neglecting your work, it’s investing in your work!

Starting your day off on the right foot will increase your clarity, creativity, and decision-making ability!
