I’ve been thinking about the best way to say thank you.
Because you deserve all the thanks in the world, and I’m hoping these heartfelt words will suffice.
Your knees have bent in prayer these last few months. You have beaten down the doors of heaven and beaten back the powers of hell. You have joined us to #PrayForZero for my dad and me. We have felt the power of your prayers. They have fed us, strengthened us, sustained us, and brought us much joy.
You’ve support us by purchasing books and Bible studies directly through our website. This makes 10 times difference to us financially, and allows us move forward through this difficult season as we face a mountain of medical bills. Some of you have gone so far as to make tax-deductible donations to help us. We couldn’t be more grateful.
You’ve even sent us gift cards. Those gift cards are one of the ways we have carried you with us in our hearts. They’ve allowed us to stop by Whole Foods after an impossibly long day at the hospital and grab dinner when we were too tired to cook. Those gift cards help us buy movies and DVDs to watch as we sit through treatment that lasts 10-12 hours. Those gift cards have taken the sting out of having to buy so many new, non-toxic products for our home and deal with the unexpected purchases that have popped up along this journey. I knew you were with us and for us.
Most importantly, many of you have gone out of your way to love, serve, and practice generosity with others who are facing great adversity. You’ve chosen to break the silence and let them know they are loved and prayed for. You’ve lavished them with the grace of God, and I stand in holy awe.
During this difficult season, you have loved me in the ways that I have most needed to be loved and left me wonderstruck. Thank you for continuing to pray as we continue on this journey and fight with joy.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
A thousand thank yous.
Much love,
Margaret, Leif, and Hershey
