    1. Just write, sit down and free write.
    2. Google writing prompts…there are a plethora of places to get something to get you going
    3. When someone says something or I read something through out my day that makes me go “hmmm” – I write it down/make a note of it for further reflection.

    These are all brand new skills I’m putting into practice since Writers Boot Camp.

    I haven’t pinpointed exactly when I’m most creative yet…but I am trying to embrace the moments my creativity shows up…and set myself up for success. My hubs is getting accustomed to hearing me say “I HAVE to go write, right now” and then disappearing for an hour or so. If I’m not in a place I can do that I quickly write myself a note…or type it into note in my iPhone.

    I’m learning as I go, some days I fall short but on the days it goes well…it’s amazing.

    Love this post!! I just wrote one similar about finding the time to create your online course even when working full-time!

    It really is about assessing what you do spend your time on and then making the room to do those things you say there is never any time for.

    For me, I carved out times in the morning. That meant waking up earlier and heading to the coffee shop. It helped because my mind was fresh and I had little distractions from the day.

    I truly, unequivocally love this post!
    It has been considerably helpful!
    I particularly liked the part about personally discovering the time of day of one’s creative surges.

    The 3 ways I fight writer’s block is:
    1. Sit, and write the first thing that comes to my head regardless of how crazy it sounds, or bad the grammar is. I’ll fix it later.

    2. Read a book by an author, written in a similar genre.

    3. Believe it or not, I switch on Netflix. A movie similar to the genre I’m writing in, sometimes jump starts my creative juices.
