I HAD HEARD of kingdoms far beyond the oasis that gives birth to life, kingdoms beyond the vast, barren sands of the Arabian deserts. ‘God believes in you.’ Absolutely NO coincidence that I saw these very same 4 words yesterday, on a church marquee in a small farming town about 10 miles outside of my home. Wow! Thinking that’s something I need to know?

Before that, I had NEVER EVER read a book by Ted Dekker, although my church library had been loaded with his novels, and considering his normal genre, I really had no interest in ever picking up one of his books. THAT all changed after I finished reading A.D. 30 (as of today, I’m on my third Ted Dekker novel in one month).
I encourage people to read this book, it is absolutely wonderful, and is written from a very deep and personal place in Dekker’s soul. I’m delighted you’re giving it away here, Margaret!

“God believes in you,” are four words that transmit tremendous power within my spirit. I know that any storm in life cannot overwhelm or defeat me when I have such a powerful God who protects and guides me in His way and will. Ted Dekker gives a wonderful illustration of these quotes in his current novel. I am anxious to see how Maviah can find fulfillment and purpose as she embraces the Messiah.
Currently I’m reading a mystery by Laura Childs, “Motif for Murder.” I enjoy mysteries as well as historical fiction.
I absolutely love the song Oceans. Every time I hear it I tear up.
