Isn’t it amazing how far we’ve come?
More than 75,000 people joined me on a Lenten Adventure as we read through Luke and Acts to reawaken to the wonder of Christ and the church.
Each day we asked:
What do I most need to read but least want to hear?
The response?
Discovering where our hidden biases are getting the best of us.
Practicing what to do when we feel crushed by loneliness.
Learning what it means to be free… and how to get there.
Unearthing the cure for disappointment.
I’m still processing all God did in and through and around me during this Lenten adventure through His Word. And I’m shocked how much coloring and doodling brought each days’ reading even more to life through The 40-Day Live Lent Challenge: A Color Method Study for Luke and Acts.

Coloring brought Scripture to life. Coloring was a tangible practice for my hands to connect with my head and my heart.
The best part? If you weren’t able to join us for the Lenten Journey (or got a tad bit behind), its not too late to take your own adventure through Luke and Acts. Grab a bff or small group to join you.
The 40-Day Live Lent Challenge: A Color Method Study for Luke and Acts includes:
- A Welcome Letter
- The Reading Plan
- Instructions on How to Use the Color Method
- Suggestions on How to Get the Most From Your Study Time
- Space to Journal and Doodle
The goal of the Color Method approach to Bible study is interacting with the text in a tangible way that uncovers patterns and placement, that primes our hearts to hear from God through familiar passages in fresh ways.

To celebrate the end of our Lenten Journey and invite you to continue doodling and praying, reading and studying, we’re giving away TWO COPIES of the ESV Journaling Bible.

Patterned after the Bible that eighteenth-century preacher and theologian Jonathan Edwards used to record more than 5,000 notes about God’s Word, the ESV Journaling Bible, Interleaved Edition includes a full, blank page next to every page of Bible text. Created for Bible readers looking for as much space as possible for sermon notes, personal reflections, prayers, or artwork, this edition is destined to set a new standard when it comes to innovative Bible design focused on consumer needs.

To enter to win, leave a comment in the space below letting us know what YOU are going to study next now that Lent is over. Two winners will be selected and notified next Monday.
Happy Bible Journaling!
Congratulations to Rebecca Priess and Wendy Mantilla for each winning a Crossway Journaling Bible!
