You should check on that typo in the title
I absolutely loved that reminder of you are a servant, not a superstar! That makes such a HUGE difference in how the message shared is presented and then received. Great advice!

I’ll be speaking for the first time in a LONG time this coming April. I’ll be saving this to reference back to as I prepare. Thank you!
Thank you, Margaret….each time of I have spoken recently…..it was TOO LONG! Even though I practiced it and timed it….I still came out long. I didn’t account for the chitty chattiness of the group with me as I presented and technicial difficulites and…and…and!
I wish your workshop was closer. I would love to come!
I make my outline, then speak my talk into a Word doc. (Talk to text.) Check the time and let Word count the words. Downsize talk.
New outline. Repeat.
Accuracy of talk-to-text doesn’t matter. Looking for how long it takes me to say the message and then let the timer and the Word word-counter determine how much I need to eliminate.
Check message on another day. Make sure it flows.
will do me very well this post I will print to read later again ! bye bye *–*
