If you’ve been reading Wonderstruck, you know some time ago we went on an amazing adventure through the Scottish Highlands. My friend, Joel Malm of Summit Leaders, and I recently dreamed up a new pray-for-pixie-dust getaway. This time we’re going to a place I’ve only dreamed of: Acadia National Park, Maine.
Join Hershey and me August 8-11, 2013, on the adventure of a lifetime as we travel to Bar Harbor, Maine, to spend four days exploring, hiking, and living life together in the amidst granite peaks, carriage roads, and the dreamy coast of Maine.
My friend, Joel, of Summit Leaders has made two options available for anyone who wants to join us:
Option A: Includes lodging in a shared house ($575).
Option B: Lodging is on your own ($350).
Whichever option you choose, the fee includes listed meals, teaching sessions, and park access. But register soon. Spots are limited and after April 1st, the rate goes up $100 per person.

We can lose sight of the long line of biblical men and women who followed God, even changing history, despite blemishes on their records, flaws in their character.
