We fight against the toughest tests, thinking they’re a mistake to maneuver rather than a grant of grace. How often we rail against the hard and unexpected and cry, “This can’t be!” we fight to settle our lives back to normal, to put on a happy face, to go about our business.

But how often do we kick the unseen kindness, shut down the kingdom from rooting itself in us as well?
