“Greetings to you, Mary.”
“O favoured one!”
“The Lord be with you!”
Imagine the overwhelming sense of awe of the angel’s presence.
The astonishment that God didn’t’ just have a message for her but a plan and a purpose.
The amazement at God’s divine affection.
Sometimes we read the story of Mary and forget that the same God who astonished Mary with adoration and joy longs to astound us with wonder upon wonder.
