As wondrous children of God, our relationships with other people also change. Those who also choose to follow Jesus are now our brothers and sisters. They may be much younger or older, they may live in our neighborhoods or in another country, they may speak our language or a distant dialect, but together we are part God’s family. We are able to have fellowship with God and each other.
The God of the universe loves us so much that He wants us to know Him as Father, receive an eternal inheritance, become part of His family, and enjoy Him forever. Indeed, being called children of God is wondrous.
Remember this truth today: You are God’s child! As children of God, we have the privilege of knowing God as our Father. We are promised an eternal inheritance, ushered into the family of God, and given abundant promises regarding our future in heaven with Him.
