People are often the couriers of God’s wonder in our lives. [Tweet this] Take time to look around.
Make a list of the people who have made a difference in your life. Express your gratitude to three of them. Pick up the phone. Send an email. Hand-write a personal note. Whatever form of expression you choose, know that as you express your appreciation, you’ll be encouraging them to continue serving and helping others. [Tweet this] Sit back and watch the wonder of gratitude unfold as you love those who mean the most to you.

I’ve spent a lot of my time waiting to be the one appreciated, but today I want to be the one doing the appreciating. This could be a day full of “wonder” fun!
Sheryl, care to share what you appreciated today?
Thank you for asking! My husband and I are caregivers for to both sets of our elderly parents. I am so appreciative of how blessed we are with parents who have such amazing attitudes in where they are in life, and they continue to serve others from where they are.
I realized that the calling of caregiving is so much lighter when I’m the one doing the appreciating instead of the one waiting to be appreciated.
Well, I have had so many people in my life to encourage and guide me in my walk with Christ and am thankful for each of them. One person who has also been an encouragement is Margaret so I want to thank you right now and let you know how much your writing and DVD’s have meant to me and have helped me in my walk. Your joy and love of the Lord shines through each word and teaching and I feel in many ways as if I have come to know you. I pray some day I will have the opportunity to see you face to face and thank you personally. You are appreciated!!
Mary, thrilled you enjoyed the DVD’s! I appreciate you as well!
Just this morning, over coffee with my hubby of 32 yrs. I was telling him how much he has influence my life. we have know each other since we were 14. Truly, he has been Jesus with skin on it…and opened up my heart to the love of the Father. I am truly blessed.
Ro, what a wonder-ful relationship you are blessed by!
so much to be thankful for after just having a baby born (posted a pic on my blog 🙂 ) It is incredible how so many people do so much for you in the first few days. I so appreciate all the doctors and nurses, friends and family and all they give. That are a grace from God and really help me see Him more by the love they show
