Maybe you’re having one of those days.
You know.
The one where you lost your keys, ran out of gas, juggled screaming kiddos, glances at a pile of bills, and there just aren’t enough hours in a day.
Maybe you feel exhausted-like you’re running on empty. Like expectations pile up but you’re already spread too thin.
Maybe you are tired of arguing, sick of being left out, or weary of holding everyone else together.
Maybe your body isn’t working like it’s supposed to.
You aren’t alone.
When you’re at the end of your rope, wherever that may be, will you remember these powerful truths?
May they fill you with peace, hope, and joy today:
1. God welcomes you with open arms. [Tweet this]
But you’ll welcome us with open arms
when we run for cover to you.
Let the party last all night!
Stand guard over our celebration.
You are famous, God, for welcoming God-seekers,
for decking us out in delight. (Psalm 5:11)
2. God is quick to listen. [Tweet this]
God’s there, listening for all who pray,
for all who pray and mean it. (Psalm 145:18)
3. He displaces all your worry. [Tweet this]
Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. (Philippians 4:6-7)
4. You can find refuge in God. [Tweet this]
Because you are my help, I sing in the shadow of your wings. (Psalm 63:7)
5. He fights on your behalf. [Tweet this]
Your God is present among you,
a strong Warrior there to save you.
Happy to have you back, he’ll calm you with his love
and delight you with his songs. (Zephaniah 3:17)
6. Tomorrow is a new day. [Tweet this]
God’s loyal love couldn’t have run out,
his merciful love couldn’t have dried up.
They’re created new every morning.
How great your faithfulness!
I’m sticking with God (I say it over and over).
He’s all I’ve got left. (Lamentations 3:22-23)
7. You are loved beyond measure. [Tweet this]
I’m forever telling everyone how faithful you are.
I’ll never quit telling the story of your love—
how you built the cosmos
and guaranteed everything in it. (Psalm 89:2)
8. His grace is enough. [Tweet this]
My grace is enough; it’s all you need.
My strength comes into its own in your weakness. (2 Corinthians 12:9)
9. Choose to #LIVEWONDERSTRUCK anyways. [Tweet this]
Therefore once more I will astound these people with wonder upon wonder. (Isaiah 29:14)
10. You can still pursue joy. [Tweet this]
The joy of the Lord is your strength. (Nehemiah 8:10)

I just started the Wonderstruck Bible study with a group of ladies at my church. So pleased to come to your site and find more spiritual blessings. It’s hard to be Wonderstruck on those bad days. What a blessing that I’ve discovered this posting as I begin my Wonderstruck journey. These are beautiful truths of how our Lord God is with us in every moment, every day. Thank you for sharing.
Blessings to you.
Hi Jennifer! Thrilled you are all using Wonderstruck– can’t wait to hear what God does in and through you over the next several weeks. Hug to you, new friend!
