I don’t know about you, but until a few months ago I didn’t even know what Pinterest was! Now I can’t stop pinning and browsing the beautiful photos, crafty projects, and tummy-grumbling recipes. If you aren’t on Pinterest yet, check it out at pinterest.com. It is a platform to share your favorite things with your friends–from DYI ideas, to outfit combinations, to humorous photos, Pinterest covers everything. I wanted to share four awesome ideas I recently found on Pinterest.
1. Crafty. I am admittedly not very crafty by nature. But, this project caught my eye–I love the color variations of this crayon art. Simply hot glue crayons on a canvas and blow dry until the wax drips down, creating something beautiful to hang in a classroom, children’s room, or living room! Check out this pin, here.
2. Foodie. I love good food. If this link doesn’t get your mouth watering, I’m not sure what will. Check out these bacon-wrapped, stuffed jalapenos here.
3. The Ultimate Party. This creative idea I found on Pinterest not only satisfies a sweet tooth, but looks great for all party decorating. Check out these chocolate ice cream bowls, here.
4. Quotable. Check out this artwork created in reference to Micah 6:8, “To act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.” The verse is written on paper or canvas, then add your own hand and foot prints in paint. Check out this pin here.
Okay. Your turn. What are you pinning on Pinterest? I want to know! Post a description or a link in the comments along with your Pinterest name.
Follow me and I’ll follow back at Pinterest.com/mafeinberg. I can’t wait to see the awesome ideas you’ve found.

I LOVE Pinterest! I love the quotes and the pictures and I feel like I’m being so creative even though I’m only sitting in front of my computer. Great for decorating ideas, inspirational quotes, (so many good Bible verses and Christian quotes), fashion ideas, recipes, cleaning and organizing tips…it’s SO MUCH FUN!! (and very addictive!)

Happy Pinning!
OH Pinterest….I can barely get enough some days. I pin A LOT. But just in bursts….I can go days without and then I go on a binge. I am in love with anything vintage, especially old linens. And sewing/crocheting ideas. Here’s a couple of my boards: http://pinterest.com/prairiejuan/i-love-vintage/ http://pinterest.com/prairiejuan/seams-and-stitches/
Sue, I’m with you! Just looking at Pinterest gets my creative juices flowing. What I don’t understand is how much time these people have on their hands to create all these beautiful things!
Love the vintage trends going around. Thanks for sharing, Juanita!
I’m like Juanita; I have bursts. Had one last night! Pinterest is just so addictive it’s not funny.I’m over at http://pinterest.com/alison_hector/. My favorite pins nowadays are food, fitness, and fun related. And purple! I am a major purple lover!
While I’m not a purple fan, I LOVE all the recipes! Following you now, Alison.
A word of advice for the crayon art: buy Crayola. I tried to save a little and use cheaper crayon brands. They just don’t melt nicely (consistency too thin, watery-looking colors, etc). I learned the hard way!
Emily,
Good tip! Thank you! Are you on Pinterest???
Hello, my name is Nicole and my obsessive pinning means I’m in need of a Pintervention. That’s all. =)

Your pin boards are awesome, Margaret! I love the idea of a prayer pin board.
I am @dukeslee.
On Pinterest, I love to upload and share my photo-pingrams on a board called “True, That.” And I’m always looking for 4-H project ideas for my girls.
I wrote a similar post recently about pins I’ve come across that convince me that I’m one of the least creative people around. I’ve gotta get into some of these people’s heads. I’d love to try that crayon art, but the process scares me a little! I just know I’d make a big mess.
