Today, I want to turn cartwheels.
Why, do you ask?
Since the beginning of March, over 50 thousand online friends from around the world took up the #LentChallenge to read through the entire New Testament during the 40 days of Lent.
We’ve been gulping around 7 chapters or 30 minutes of Scripture every day. I’m so spiritually full, I feel like the buttons of my jacket are popping off.
Today, we celebrate with everyone who has completed the #LentChallenge, as we rejoice the resurrection of Christ.
Even if you’re still making your way through the New Testament, my hunch is that your heart has been expanded like mine. Not only have I experienced this growing appreciation for God, His Word, and His work in our world, but I’ve had this pounding sense of expectation for today—Resurrection Day!
Today, we can be grateful that death has no sting under grace.
Today, we are reminded that nothing can come between us and our great God because of the Resurrection.
Today, we are expectant for all Christ is doing and will do in our lives.
Join the chorus: He is risen! He is risen indeed!
I rejoice with you Margaret! I’m overcome with joy by the beauty of my Savior,my Redeemer! The 40 day NT lent journey was amazing! Each day was a wonder to behold! I’m wonderstruck! Happy Easter blessings!❤️❤️❤️
I’m wonderstruck, too!
What a blessing to read the Good News over the past 40 days… to finish with Revelations… to know His love that conquered the Cross…continues until that final day… Love always wins… Happy Easter Margaret!!!
Amen, Ro!
Margaret, I absolutely loved, loved, loved doing that Lenten Challenge. Each morning I looked forward to signing into You Version and reading and marking off the chapters as I read them. I wish I had a photographic memory, though!
Let us all rejoice in Jesus’ resurrection and the life we have with Him.
Me too, Christine!
Thank you so much for this wonderful 40 day experience. I cant even find the words of how amazing it has been. My heart is so full and my flesh is so shocked that I did it! And in the middle of it I spent 3 weeks in the hospital. (most of it in peace) I look forward to the next adventure He was for me. Thanks again Margaret! Be Blessed!
Awesome– thrilled it was a blessing to you, Kathy.
What joy to complete an entire section of scripture on Resurection Sunday! Again I feel this study has helped me concentrate on what is most important in life, my relationship with the risen Lord. Thank you Margaret for offering this so freely, may our Lord bless you!
Wahoo!
