Portraits of restoration surround us, but sometimes we walk by such beautiful work unaware. Look around your home for something that needs restoring. A wall that needs touch-up paint. A piece of jewelry that’s lost its shine. An appliance that needs to be fixed. A piece of furniture that needs to be refinished. Instead of waiting another day, begin the process of repair today. As you work, consider the wondrous work of restoration that God has done and is doing in your life. [Tweet this]

I’m truly the “project” right now. God is RESTORING me little by little. Step by step He and I are walking out my crisis of belief. I am slowly becoming alive again, beging to trust Him and see His wonder all around. He truly is the patient Repairer of Broken Walls…
Thank you for following the Lord’s calling and writing Wonderstruck and playing a part in my RESTORATION process Margaret. 🙂
Tara, thank you for joining us for this process! Thrilled that God is doing great things in you!
Perfect focus for today. My planned project is to clean and organize my sewing room!
I tried to work on a project yesterday….and things were such a mess, it just wasn’t fun.
So…just like my mind…..CLEAN IT…so I can focus on progress! ( I haven’t thought about cleaning the house as ‘restoring’ before…but that is a great word!! )
Nina, what a great exercise!
The word “restore” always reminds me of the beautiful song Restore To Me (it’s about Psalm 51) by Mac Powell and Candi Pearson: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZG01bG_Y5is
Eileen, I love this one!
One of my passions in life is to take something that has no value to anyone else and restore it into becoming something beautiful and usable. I, too, feel like I want to be the restoration project today! I’m so thankful that I serve a God that sees me as something beautiful and usable!
Sheryl, you are blessed with an amazing passion! So glad you can share this with others!
restoration needed everywhere…
Isaiah 58:12
You will rebuild the ancient ruins, raise foundations from ages past, and be called “Repairer of broken walls, Restorer of streets to live in.” cjb #livewonderstruck !!
Felicia, I love this verse! Great reminder for me today!
