This week I’m giving away three copies of Susie Larson’s book, Your Beautiful Purpose: Discovering and Enjoying What God Can Do Through You. Susie Larson is co-host of Focus on the Family‘s Everyday Relationships, a national daily talk radio show and hosts Live the Promise, which airs across the Upper Midwest. She is also a media voice for Moody Radio. Susie and her husband, Kevin, have three adult sons and live near Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Susie instructs readers how to overcome insecurities, busyness, and other obstacles in order to focus their gifts and passions on their unique God-assignment.
Whether you’re:
- the woman with a buried passion, a desire in her heart yet to be fulfilled.
- the woman who’s been so beat down by life, had so many of her heartfelt desires pushed aside that’s she’s barely alive, hardly passionate. She’s afraid to dream, because she’d rather not be disappointed.
- the woman is earnest in her walk with Jesus, but doesn’t resonate with words like dream, or calling. She wants to be faithful right where she lives. She loves her familiar territory but lives unaware of the more God has for her.
With biblical insights and inspiring stories from a variety of women, this action-oriented guide will speak to every woman who has felt a nudge from God–from the visionary who wants to end poverty to the empty-nest mom who feels called to help the young single mother next door.

What has God called you to do? What is your beautiful purpose?
This sounds like a very inspirational book. I would love to read it!
the book title feels like God meeting me where I am. Hope to win a copy! Thanks for the chance!
really enjoyed seeing susies trailer about your beautiful purpose.
really enjoyed seeing susies trailer about your beautiful purpose.
Right now I feel my “beautiful calling” is working with special needs kids, most of whom have behavior difficulties. I am we’ll over-matched and last year was ugly. I am going to need The Lord to hold on to me to make me successful in this endeavor. I’m scared.
Elisa. May God go before you to staighten the path! Amen+
Sounds like a great study!
I would love to read that book.
Sounds like a wonderful book!!!
Thanks for the giveaway
Trying to narrow down my specific purpose. I know God intends for me to encourage other women, I just have to figure to through what medium He intends for me to do so.
I would love to preview this book for my Women’s Ministry Group!~
Would love to win a copy and read it. Thanks! Margie Smith
Sounds like a great book! Thanks for all you do.
I would so love to read this book. Think it is just what I need right now.
God Bless!
Sounds like a great book
Sounds like a great book to stir the passion in my heart,
God has called me to share my story and to LOVE.
I love how Susie says we are to walk intimately with the Lord. That is what I desire. God has called me to inspire and encourage others. I do that through my blog Heart Choices and in my daily encounters with people. I love working with little children in our Pre-K 3 class during this season of my life. My nursing background comes in handy too. I am writing a book in my spare time but it seems to be taking much longer than I hoped.
I would love to read this book of Susie’s.
I just recently realized that God is using my ability to sew to bring happiness and love into the lives of others who don’t sew. I recently put together adult bibs for some folks in a senior residential facility. Later I heard about one lady who has MS and is now in a wheelchair. She is only 49, but needs the care provided there. When she learned I had made her four bibs just because I wanted her to feel loved, she cried. That’s when I realized that God is using my sewing skills to share His love for others. I’m very grateful that I have this ability to make others happy and feel loved.
I am at a place in my life where I need to face my fears and be available to what God has planned for me. This book looks like a great tool to help me move forward with God. I know God has so much more planned for my life here and I don’t want to waste any more time allowing my fears to control me.
I am in a season of discovering and seeking. This book sounds like exactly what I need to be reading!
Sounds like a wonderful book! Would love to win a copy! 🙂
I always set my goals around my birthday, so as I head into a new year — and next year into a new decade — I seek more than ever to know God’s purpose for me. I am content to serve where I am, but does God have something bigger for me? Perhaps this book is a tool he can use to direct me. Prayers for you and your family, Margaret.
You have made me aware of many wonderful books through your giveaways. Need to read them all! Maybe I’ll even win one some day. 🙂
Please enter me in the drawing. Sounds like a great book!
I am on the path to whatever God has purposed for me.
I am called to teach others how to study the Bible and to develop leaders. Challenging people to stand up for Jesus in this crazy world leads to exciting conversations. Eventually I know God wants me to speak up about pornography use by our youth and being pro active about teaching kids how and why to say NO!! This book fits where I am.
I have so many times in my life where I have felt “crumpled and ground into dirt” by so many tragedies, from death of my young daughter and Mother, death of my husband. Now I just received a diagnosis of breast cancer, and I’m facing surgery. The Lord has been so near to me in each of these trials. I know God has a purpose for my life, and want to fulfill that. This book sounds so interesting, and I would be thrilled to win a copy.
Bless you.
As women we are constantly being “poured out” – giving, nurturing, comforting, encouraging, and caring for others. It’s so important for us to stop every day and spend time in God’s Word, study to gain wisdom, and pray for strength. I am beginning an online Bible Study Book Club (we start in just about two weeks!) and we hope to make it through many books this year as we encourage one another and grow together! I’m so excited! I would love to read “Your Beautiful Purpose” and add it to our book club reading list! Susie would also be a new author that I would look forward getting to know! Congratulations on the new book! I look forward to reading it!
Sounds great. I would love to win this!!
It sounds great, and that’s what I have been asking my Lord, what’s next for me?
I’ve been pondering the “what is God’s purpose for me now” a lot more lately as 3 of my 4 kids have now graduated from HS. This looks like a great book.
What a answer to prayer. I hope I win one, this is something I have been praying about and for a long time. I think this book just might be the answer to that prayer. God Bless!
…obviously whatever I thought I should be doing I’m not since I am doing something different…but profound..I am a care giver taking care of my husband whose health as been an increasing challenge for over 20 years…being the hands and feet of Jesus..its a sacrifice..it’s a letting go, a true surrender and pouring out of myself…It has had it’s moments as my flesh and Spirit struggle…but there is intense beauty and in it I find my beautiful purpose every time I let God have His way and I serve my husband through Him….
I would love to own this book. I know I am called by God and He has a purpose for me but I don’t know what it is. I just keep listening, obeying, trusting, and growing in faith day by day.
I have been on the waiting list forever at the library, waiting to read Susie’s book. I Can not afford to buy it but I am sure looking forward to reading it. It would really be a blessing to win it instead!
I am an encourager to the body of Christ. It’s what I love to do and find great fulfillment in doing so.
This book is so incredibly inspiring! I would love to win a copy of it so I can bless someone else.
I LOVE Susie and her encouraging work and words! Would love to read this one; thanks for the opportunity, Margaret!
I like the phrase “Bid me Come.” It is so much better than “Send me” or “Tell me to go”. With “Bid me Come”, It says that Jesus will be with Peter wherever He bids him to come. It is a very comforting phrase. I want to remember it for some of my talks with Jesus, when I am trying to decide whether or not to step out of my comfort zone. “Lord, just bid me come.” Thanks for sharing this Margaret, and for giving us a chance for a free book.
I am the one with the a buried passion, a desire yet to be fulfilled. Would love to win a copy! Thanks!
I resonate more with the third type of woman, one who is happy where she is but unaware of all God has for her. I am recently retired and looking for the place God wants me.
God has given me a desire to grow closer to Him and then splash over on to others so they can grow.
I am an “empty-nester’ that had big ministry dreams for these next few years, but find myself overwhelmed, caring for elderly parents.. not what I had planned! Looking for encouragements during this unexpected season.
This just happens to be the season of life I’m in….struggling to find something deeper to do with my life…find goals….
My kids are grown…and it’s just me here at home with my cats. I’m disabled and have so much time on my hands….I know I should be doing more, but I don’t know what that is!
Bliss,
Shan
Thank you and God Bless you!
My purpose is to work with young children and give them the love and nurturing they need to grow into faithful servants of God, to know Jesus intimately, and to love others. I am truly blessed.
Ive been searching for my purpose for over two years, but I’m starting to realize I need to be patient and trusting knowing that its all in Gods time.
I love Susie Larson!
I’ve been wanting to read this book for awhile now! I think it would be very inspirational and beneficial to where I’m at in life right now! I’ve struggled with feeling like my life doesn’t have much purpose and I can really relate to the example of the second woman described above. I truly want to have an intimate relationship with The Lord, walk in His ways, and know His purpose for me. Also, I really like what was shared about Peter in the book trailer video. Makes me want to know what other Biblical insight and wisdom is shared in the book! Thank you so so much for doing this great giveaway!
I have loved this ministry! Have been waiting for this book! Thank you!
I am right in the midst of trying to figure out my buried passion and purpose. This book will meet me right where I am in the process!
I am searching for God’s purpose for my blog to inspire and help others.
My blessing has been to abide in Him while writing a K-6 Bible curriculum (www.susanirenefox.com/branches/). Sometimes it has been easy as the Spirit’s words flow through me. Sometimes it has been difficult as opposition and doubt form an alliance to exert the gravitational force of a spherical boulder rolling downhill to hurl me off the trajectory and focus God has set before me. Yet, He has told me not to fear; He told me He has plans for me.
So I continue to press on, to pray that it will find a publisher. I continue to write, to share His strength, His power, His wonder, but most of all, His love with those next in line to His inheritance.
I’m trying to find my “beautiful purpose”, so a perfect time for this book to come out!
Looking for my beautiful purpose and how God wants me to serve His kingdom! Just took. Spiritual Gifts questionnaire…accurate & this book hold help me figure out my “made for this!”
I love Suzie Larson and would love to read this book. My purpose is like every other Christian, to serve others and shine the salvation light of Jesus! I do need daily inspiration and encouragement and who better to bring it !! Thanks for the chance 🙂

I am entering a new season of life and wondering what my next step is, so this book sounds like a good fit for me.
I would love to win this. I ask God to protect and bless you and your family.
This sounds awesome, would love some inspiration.
As en empty-nester I am searching for ways that God is calling me out. I have been reluctant to just give it all to my great God to handle in His way…. I would love the challenge this book sounds like it could give me.
This sounds like just the book I need to read right now… Would love to win a copy!!!
I retired early from government employment to do something worthwhile. I have since worked for several service organizations that have had to lay me off due to financial problems and I’m still praying for
God to show me how he wants to use me.

Susie Larson hears the heart of God so this has to be a great book!
I am an older Christian woman called to mentor younger women. I am constantly reading and studying so that I can give wise counsel to those struggling through their Christian walk and daily lives…I need this book..
I would love to read this book!
Hey Marg, how are you? thanks for being a beautiful woman of purpose. I mentor younger women and this sounds like a great book to take them through. i’d need to get hold of one (free!?!) and read it first. am sure it will refresh me too… as women, we seem to always be needing clarity about our purpose because we multi-task so much~
blessings.
34 years old…..still praying about my purpose….and I never win anything! Please choose me.
This summer a great group of women at my church. completed the Wonderstruck Bible study, it was a fantastic study. I recommend this study to all women. Please select me to receive a copy of “Your Beautiful Purpose”. As a recently retired woman who has always worked full time, I am now in the process of finding meaning and purpose for the next chapter of my life.
Sounds like the perfect book for where I am at in life and what I am searching for. Adding it to my “To Read” list!
I would love to read this book! This is right where I am, trying to hear God about what He has for me!
I look forward to reading this one. Thanks for featuring it!
