When my friend, Jennifer Rothschild, told me about her new book I couldn’t way to get my hands on Invisible: How You Feel Is Not Who You Are.
A gifted writer and Bible teacher, Jennifer doesn’t shy away from hard issues or the struggles of life. Her newest book is no exception. Jennifer explores the story of Gomer, a person chosen and loved but prone to wander—a person like you or me.
Yet Jennifer gently reminds us:
“As I read God’s Word, I see my worth.” –Jennifer Rothschild #invisible
And…
“It is God’s love that makes us lovely.” –Jennifer Rothschild #invisible
In celebration of Jennifer’s gorgeous, life-giving new book, I’ve organized a little gift package for you. This week we’re giving away The Gift Package of Breakthrough and Celebration. This includes:

Congratulations to the winner: Sandra JS Coleman
I know I have struggled in my 61 years of life with my identity… who I truly am. Many days I have to stop and refocus on who I am to God through the love of Christ.
not knowing our worth is one of the biggest stumbling blocks between us and God. We need help sometimes to understand how to accept God’s great love for us, that we are so precious in His sight.
I am grateful for God’s Word; just last night I revisited Ephesians 2:10 reading that we are “the product of His hand, heaven’s poetry etched on lives”, all because of His rich grace and mercy.
You had me at taffy. 🙂
But seriously, I had some things come up recently that have shaken me to the core. After a particularly bad morning, I texted a friend asking for immediate prayer. In addition to praying, she told me, “Remember who you are, and remember whose you are.” We’ve heard that in a few sermons, but I don’t think we can hear that enough.
All of us struggle with one thing or another. It is important to keep pressing on in the name of the Lord. If we are born again by faith in the blood of Christ, we are more than conquerors, we are children of the most high God!
Thanks for the opportunity to win such a wonderful gift. I do believe my wife would enjoy the selection you have put together.
could be very timely for me… I have been a mom for 32 yrs… a homeschool mom for 27 yrs… I am dropping my youngest off at college this weekend… for so long… mom… homeschooling mom became to define me…and the circles of the friends that were made through children’s connection via sports… those circle lines become more squiggly… in these times of transitions… I am having to remind my self… my life and worth is in Christ… thanks for the opportunity of this sweet gift!!!
What a sweet gift. Thanks for the chance.
would love to win.
I would love to receive this gift! I have not had the pleasure of doing one of Jennifer’s studies in many years.
What a special treat, Margaret. It would be a special thing to win this fun giveaway.
Who I truly am has become such a blur. The trauma I have experienced makes me question every day who I am in Christ versus what the trauma has done to my identity. I would really appreciate such encouragement right now. I will be saving this book in my wish list…it sounds like something I should read.
God has used Jennifer’s writing before in my life through the “Me, Myself, and Lies” study. I know God has more work to do in my heart in this area. Would love to win a copy of her latest! Thanks Margaret!
In the past few years I’ve been coming to learn more and more about who I really am, who God says that I am. But I am still so often filled with shame at my behavior.
Would love to win!
Would love to win. Jennifer is amazing. Thank you!

I would love reading her new book!
i am currently reading Fighting Back with Joy (almost finished) and Scouting the Divine! Love both and would love to read this one too 🙂
What a beautiful opportunity – thank you for your generosity! The book sounds wonderful.
It’s encouraging to know that someone else can see you from the otherside and know what you are going through. Only someone who has known the pain of rejection or. ” lashon hara” and come out still trusting that God is the one who makes all things work together for good , that can walk with you through the valley of the shadow of death. It’s the Lord’s way of telling you, you are not alone., I’ll use it to grow your love for Me, I’ll make those experiences the manure of your garden, and you will come out with a better.understanding of who I am to you, if you’ll let me.
Would like to read this study very much!
This has been exactly my focus this year! Living brave, finding my true identity in Christ, and unlocking the joy within! I would LOVE this book!!!! I was just telling a friend that so many times I feel invisible and have been struggling to see that it is ok to feel that way but not allow that to dim who I am and Whose I am!
Looking for a Tuesday morning study to do w our ladies at church. Could this be the one?
Would love to win this
I have been waiting f for this to come out! Love Jennifer and get heart for women!!
I would love to win!
What a wonderful package! I’d love to win 🙂
Talk about reaching all the senses. Love it! Thank you for offering the giveaway!
Many people have a life verse but I have a life book…Hosea. I have spent most of my life running from God’s love and acceptance, running back to what’s familiar, denying that He could love someone like me. But I’ve also had those moments in time where I see His love, see His provision, believe it, celebrate it, accept it. Sigh….to live in full acceptance…what would I be like then? What would my life be like?
Hope to win but I may just have to buy the book myself!
Sounds like a lovely book! I would love to win!
What a wonderful gift package. Joy in a box ?.

One Word that I been getting from the Lord is change.Margaret you have so ministered to me both from your interviews and your book. That I think it is possible ! I would be very grateful to receive a wonderful gift to help me in this journey.
I have felt invisible all my life. Due to many opportunities for rejection such as divorce of parents, failed friendships, etc., I still deal with many issues of self worth. Woulf love to have this in hopes that I can finally at 45 begin the healing process and find out my true identity in Him.
Much love and blessings,
Nicole
Sounds like a much needed book. Thanks for sharing about it.
Would love to win…
My heart has really been needing this reminder lately. This book sounds like a must-read for me.
Thank you for this opportunity. Like most people. I struggle to battle the inner thoughts and proclaim to myself that I am the chosen child of the Most High Good, the daughter of the King, and His ambassador.

My church is closing. I am trying to continue my morning reading and journaling, but this is a true and deep loss in my life and I am searching for a sense of balance. I love her books and could seriously use this at this time.
Gomer, so much to learn from God working in her life.
Oh what a blessing this would be!
This is so generous! Thank you for sharing these opportunities!

Yes, women need this book; they need to hear that they are never invisible to the One who loves them best. He knows them better than they know themselves, He chases after them better than any man could pursue, and He longs to be forgive and restore.
Would love to win this. For ALL of my life I have been caught up in an internal prison due to circumstances beyond my control. Through religious teachings and what I was taught about myself by family members and how I was treated. God has been taking me on an extremely painful journey to healing where I am being set free one step at a time.
This would be an awesome resource to use in my counseling practice & women’s small group!
Sounds like a great author and book. Would love to win.
What a wonderful gift pack! Would love to win this!
I would so love to win this!
The joy of the Lord is my strength today.
What a wonderful resource. Look forward to reading the book/study.
What a lovely thing to do! But what else would I expect from someone who loves joy bombs?!
God bless you!
This would be an AMAZING gift for me and my daughter to share!
Looks like an incredible package. Love her writing!
Our identity in Christ should be a daily reminder of God’s love and mercy towards us who believe. So many times I’ve been shaken by events in my family, that I’ve been beaten down and wondering how to get through each crisis. I need the reminder that God is working in all situations. I treasure the gift of Jesus who lives within me and reassures me through His Word that I have worth and can weather any situation as I focus on Him. Your sweet offering would be a gift to encourage and uplift my spirit.
Thank you for sharing your gift to help women!
I would love this package!
Just having attended Writers Boot Camp 2015 in Littleton, Colorado, I have wonderful memories of the conference and great information to implement! Highly recommend Margaret, Jonathan, and Writers Boot Camp team!
Thank you for this wonderful gift package! I would love to be entered to win!
We are about to start her study on Hosea! Looking forward to doing it!
Thank you for your encouraging, thought-provoking, and honest writings!
Sweet! You had me at ‘Invisible’ which is where I’ve been feeling for quite a while now …. and then you had to bring up chocolate & Sweet’s Salt Water Tafffy (which is the best!). What’s a girl to do? 🙂
Sweet! You had me at ‘Invisible’ which is what I’ve been feeling for quite a while now…and chocolate & Sweets Salt Water taffy (which is The Best). What’s a girl to do? 🙂
I can’t wait to read this book. Thanks!
What a great subject! Feeling loved, worthy, and noticed are so counter to what happens in our human relationships.
I had a two-hour “listening session” with my adult daughter Friday night. She shared deeply with me her many health issues and how that is impacting her as a person, wife, and mother. I assured her of my love and support as well as my ongoing prayers. When I saw this gift pack, I thought that would be a wonderful pick-me-up surprise. I would be willing to buy such a gift pack–are they for sale? Perhaps I will be selected. 🙂 But, do you know what, God will select the one who needs it the most! PTL!
I want to read this book, and I know I’ll then want to share it with a friend! Pick me! Pick me! 🙂
Have enjoyed Jennifer’s Walk by Faith series and so appreciate both of your writings!
Oh my goodness, this is an amazing give-away. I love everything I’ve read of Jennifer’s so am sure this book is just as wonderful. Thanks for the chance to win a copy. I love books and can never have enough.
I would love to win this book! I am so often ruled by my ‘feelings’ or ’emotions ‘. I know that that is no way to live. ?
My 23 yr old for has met Jennifer and really connected with her mssg. My dtr has a life limiting disease but does not let it define her! I would love to give her this gift. Bless you!
Thank you for extending an opportunity to win. I have experienced a number of unexplainable experiences. But when I look back over my life I can say by the grace of God I’m victorious.
Since the sudden death of my husband, I have fought to find a way to live my new life to honor God. My identity changed – no longer a wife. Thankful to always be a child of God though. Thank you for the opportunity to sign up for this gift package. What a blessing it will be for someone!
Would love to win this!
This looks wonderful!
Thank you for the opportunity to win! I will definitely share the book with my women at church but I can’t guarantee I’ll share the taffy. 🙂
Jennifer’s message of finding my worth through God’s faithful, persistent love really resonates with me. The Lord used a recent Bible study to show me that my “busyness” has been based on the lie that what I DO determines my worth. If I’m too busy (esp with churchy tasks?), I am free to procrastinate on home tasks. My gears are grinding, as I try to evaluate each commitment in this light.
Have I mentioned recently how much I appreciate you and your smiling face? You are an encouragement to so many. I would love to attend your writers’ boot camp. Maybe one year the Lord will make the way. May God abundantly bless you.
Jennifer’s posts always speak to me, so excited for this book and the must need message.
Margaret, I love your book “Fight Back with Joy”, perfect for friends and family who are experiencing a tough journey through treatment. Also ordered your cards made especially for friends/family to encourage them through their difficult times. Thank you for serving our Lord in your very special way!
Would love to win this just because I love to read and love getting goodies.
What a fun giveaway!
I would love to win this package. The book looks very interesting.
Maragret Feinberg you have done again…putting together God’s joy, His Awesomeness, and a daily search and relationship with our One & Only Creator. Winnjng this package is a little more icing on the cake. Reading the comments your readers are touched by your gift of sharing and encouragement. God bless you in your studies and writings!
Ooooo anything that involves food… But seriously, Jennifer’s book looks like an incredible read. A “win” would be pretty good about now.
So excited about this give-away. Hoping my name is selected!
Would love to be blessed with this one. The subject is timely. 🙂 …and then there’s the chocolate.
I would love to win this package. I can’t even begin to tell you how invisible I have felt although I am so clearly not. I know that I loved just sometimes feel forgotten.
Thanks so much for this sweet giveaway!
Even when breakthroughs seem slow and small the CELEBRATIONS need to be bigger still.
Oh! How I want to be better at Celebrating.
Thank you for the positive words. Most days I know them deep from within. Today, not so much. We all need to hear the Truth from a loving heart when we are down.
What a lovely combination of gifts! Thank you for the opportunity!! ?
Wow! This sounds like an incredible book. I have a friend right now in the middle of a custody battle and really questioning her self worth. This would be an awesome gift to pass on to her and I would buy a copy for myself so we could read it and discuss it together. Looking forward to Friday!!!!!
I love Jennifer Rothschild’s encouraging writing!
I need reminding that invisible is a feeling and not and identity!
I read Rothschild’s Proverbs 31 devotional on the same topic this past week. Definitely something that many women struggle with.
The title of this book in intriguing. Must read it soon. Thank you Margaret for posting it, otherwise I may have never known it existed. And if you recommend it, I know it will be a blessing.
This would be a lovely gift for any woman! The book, journal, candle and candy…truly a little gift from heaven! ?
Is it too late to win? Bring it on, that is one of the first Bible Stories God led me to. Along with Job! Look forward to reading.
What a wonderful gift. Would love to win. Thank you
Would love this package! Wil see you in 2 weeks at SIWC Womens Conference!!
What a fun package and an awesome topic. God is the reason for who I am. All I am and all I have is because of His love and grace!
Jennifer was our keynote speaker at my church’s women’s ministry event a number of years ago. I will never forget her message and loved hearing her play the piano and sing. What an inspiration she has been to me. I would love to read any book written by Jennifer Rothschild. I hope I win.
what a great giveaway!!!
What a saweeeet giveaway! To go a layer (or twenty) deeper, the title alone — Invisible: How You Feel Is Not Who You Are — instantly shakes up my vulnerability a little. Invisible — how often have I felt like that?! To be honest, it might be easier to count how many times I haven’t felt that way. *sigh* Forgive me, Jesus! #SensitiveSoul
Thank you for this opportunity, Margaret! Currently digging in deep to your DVD series/study on joy!
P.S. Jennifer had been absolutely A•DOR•ABLE on her scopes on Periscope!
I’m really looking forward to reading the book!!! Thanks for sponsoring a giveaway!!!
What a great prize! So excited for whomever wins this! Blessings to you for sharing and spreading the truth that feelings are real, but that doesn’t make them true. I will be looking for this book. So glad you are doing this giveaway. Thanks!
Fantastic prize package. Would love to win.
I’ve had my eye on her book for a few days now. I think I first saw it on Amazon. I’ve struggled with chronic pain and other health issues for several years now. I’m not the same person anymore & it is so hard. I miss my healthy body that I took for granted & that’s just the beginning of it. I am constantly reminding myself that I am not my health issues. It’s a daily struggle but I thank the Lord that He is my comfort & my shelter as I make this journey. Thank you for such an amazing giveaway!
“It’s God’s love that makes us lovely.” Love that!!! I need to remember this!
Love Margaret Feinberg! & Jennifer Rothschild! I think I could really benefit from this book. Hope I win!
Oh my what a right now gift!! I would really be blessed by this.
Many blessings,
Tina
I think we all struggle to remember who we are in Christ. This looks like such an amazing gift package. Thank you for offering it.
As a Pastor’s wife, I often feel invisible. Sounds like Jennifer’s words are exactly what I need to read right now. To be reminded of my worth.
What a lovely gift! Thanks!
I know what it feels like to feel invisible. Growing up in a dysfunctional home I was invisible God healed that broken heart. Later in life my husband of 27 years left me for another. Another feeling of being all alone and invisible. Now I grieve the loss of my dad just 3 years after reconnecting with him. God will restore this hole like the others throughout my life.
Even though I feel invisible to our main church while my husband and I minister in our mission church; I know God sees me and our love, struggles and the people we work with. They might be “those people” to others, but not to us and not to God.
I would love to win!! Thank you
This would be amazing!! Thanks for the opportunity to win. Blessings!!
Thank you, Margaret, for your passionate faith and fun!
Looking forward to reading the book whether I win or not but thanks for the chance!
Struggling with tough issues are times of learning and renewal, however we can all benefit from outside inspiration and knowledge. I am confident Invisible would be a worthwhile reading experience.
I have enjoyed Jennifer’s books & studies very much. I would very much like to read this one as well. Thank you for the opportunity!
“It is God’s love that makes us lovely “. So true, and such a good reminder. Now I really want to read the book !
I would love to win!
Sounds like a great book and reminder that we all need. What a fun gift package. Jennifer is a great speaker and writer.
Christ knows the struggles I have with my husbands new illness. It would be a blessing to win Jennifer’s new book!
What a fabulous prize! God and chocolate doesn’t get any better than this.
After I had to quit work to focus on my health I realized how much I had put my self worth into my job title. It’s taking quite a bit of work to establish who I am in Christ as my primary identity.
As an adult adoptee I am thankful for God’s pursuing love and identity in our lives.
Jennifer has blessed me beyond words with her writings. I sometimes feel “invisible” is my middle name. But I know to The One who created me I am not and that is what matters most. Thank you Jennifer and Margaret for sharing.
What a sweet gift! Jennifer has such a way with words and the Lord has used her Bible studies to reach into my heart on more than one occasion. I would love to win:)
The must read!!! Living victorious is my goal. Feelings come and this book I believe will help balance the every day feelings. The every day blues will turn to yellow sun light even when it is raining.
What a terrific gift! I would love to read this book!
This is the third time I’ve heard about this book (must be a Sacred Echo). I’d love to get it.
I ordered my book and can’t wait to start reading it! What a nice giveaway! Invisible no more is my new motto. Thank you! God bless your ministry.
I so could use this right now! I’m facing the impossible and trying to for the first time in my life discover who I am and explore my relationship with God amongst tragedy
Thank you, Margaret and Jennifer for helping me and many people by sharing your life experiences, but mostly for helping us to see life through the lens of God’s Word. Both of you are inspiring me and many others to deepen our relationship with the Lord. Thank you for all that you do!
This sounds awesome! I can’t wait to see you in Roanoke this October. I came back to God while studying Scouting the Divine.
It would be a huge blessing to win this giveaway! Thank you for the opportunity.
What a blessing it would be to win this package!
Definitely need to read this one.
I’d love to win, but the book sounds like a great read whether I win it or not. I will definitely be checking this one out.
As a work at home, homeschooling mom to 5 I can certainly understand being invisible! This sounds like a great read! 🙂
I can’t wait to read such a needed book– our Pastor was just addressing this topic this week. I work with so many women in recovery from believing that their feelings are who they actually are — their identity. I recovered from that mindset a long time ago but struggle not to slip back into it!
Wow. My heart thinks of so many with this book, myself included. We’re all prone to wander in small and large ways. I love the quotes you’ve shared. Our worth and our loveliness comes from our maker, our Beloved, our BrideGroom, healer and helper. Hmm… Margaret, thank you for sharing about Jennifer’s new book! We find our identity in Him and need to be reminded of that constantly.
Would love to have this resource for the women in my church to take advantage of for Bible study! We have received much from Jennifer’s other studies. Thank you!
Thanks for the giveaway. I’d love to read Jennifer’s thoughts on Gomer.
Would love to receive the nurturing
Some years ago the Lord told me He will have me write a book. This was a complete shock to me as I have no idea how to write!! I trust in His plan and will ‘hang on’. I believe coming to this website (sent by a friend) was one of those steps in bringing His plan to fruition. I’m anxious to read this book.
I would love to read Jennifer’s latest and share it with someone else! Who doesn’t struggle with wandering, honestly? I know it is going to be a life – giving message.
This would be such a blessing to win!
You’re so awesome! 🙂
What a wonderful gift package! Looks like an incredibly good book too, looking forward to reading it in the near future.
Woohoo! All that’s missing is a cup of hot tea and a bubble bath. 😉 or massage? Well massaging the soul with those words of encouragement. Thank you Jennifer for tackling such hard issues women face. Thank you Margaret for introducing us to her and for your own encouragement. Honesty is the best policy right? I hope a woman who really needs to know she isn’t unvisible wins this. I’m really just here for the wonderful goodies being offered. 🙂
Really looking forward to reading this book, and would love to win a prize!
What a lovely book and gift package. Thanks for sharing!
I am always interested in new books and discovering new authors that are passionate about God. It is a joy to discover and explore how God is working in other peoples lives and a privilege to learn from their experiences and understanding of God through their writing.
Wow! What an amazing package and opportunity! Would love this! God is up to something Good! I’m halfway through?Fight Back With Joy?. I just can’t explain how much I needed this book, right now, at this exact point in my life. To be able to fight back with Joy, and not feel Invisible at the same time?!?! I will get there! Thank You Margaret for your words & for introducing this!?
Would love to win this package…thanks for offering it!
Just realized that it says I’ve won. I could be mistaken, or it could be too late. I’d love find out though.
