Sunday Stills

“I discovered the Sabbath isn’t about what is done or left undone as much as breathing in the goodness of God. The more I inhaled, the more I desired another long breath.”

  1. “Breathing in the goodness of God”, wow, Margaret, love that.

I’m going to try that next Sunday. Blessings to you.

  2. You’re definitely right Margaret. Sabbath is not about gaining recognition and definitely not about regrets. It’s about being with God and having a good time with Him.

  3. I actually paid attention to my body’s cue of telling me I needed a Saturday where I wasn’t running with my head cut off going here and there. I am so glad I did because I got the best sleep I have had in a couple of weeks. A nap is worth it! Its a small thing but its the small things that matter. Another way I help ward off busyness is refocusing my heart to be in tune with God by turning off the lights and listening to worship music just me and God and no one or nothing else. It gives me a space that allows me to listen to God and what He wants for me and gets rid of the distractions so I can really see if all of what I am doing is what I need to do or just what I think I need to do because i have an addiction to being busy.
