“We all need to become more intentional about prayer, selective about our words, ready to meet our Abba Father in the syllables and the silence that emerge. The wonder of prayer is rediscovered in who we’re speaking to. Prayer is a mystical event by which we get to talk to the Creator of all—the One who fashioned our world with a few words—knowing that God not only listens but answers.”

Hear hear…
Prayer really does change the world…
Amen! I have this hunch when we get to heaven we’ll be awed at how potent our prayers really were–and wished we’d prayed all the more.
I so love the picture you have used today! As with any relationship we must spend time getting to know each other through talking and through listening. God, of course, knows us all too well but the more time we spend in His presence the closer we become to knowing more and more about Him and His amazing love, His plans for us and of course the Wonder of who He is.
Thanks again for lifting my heart and causing me to turn my thoughts to my Father.
I loved that picture, too, Mary. Praying we are astounded once again with the wonder of God found in friendship. Merry Christmas to you!
