Sunday Still: For When You Wonder Where God Is

“The story of Joseph is a powerful reminder that even when things don’t make sense, God is still at work. When we wonder, ‘Where are you, God?’ we can trust that God is more involved than we can ever imagine. God is present in both the palaces and in the prisons, in the years of feast and the years of famine.” –Margaret Feinberg, Pursuing God’s Love: Stories from the Book of Genesis

  1. …..and whether we see HIm or not we KNOW He’s still at work, and ‘has our back’…..
Keeping you in prayer Margaret :)

  2. So timely and encouraging. Thank you. I struggle with being hard on myself, wondering how to make sense of cares and concerns. God sees everything we can’t.
Praying His work being made in you and through you, Margaret.
    You. Are. Loved.

  3. I am so behind in this study I haven’t been commenting much…I’m only in week 3 but plugging along!! This post caught me eye though…I was JUST wondering this last night Margaret; as Tom went off to the ER for the 1st time in over 9 weeks. I’ve been repeating “I trust you Lord, I trust you Lord with him, I trust you Lord with me” over and over (and thought I was believing it)…but the meltdown I had last night proves differently (in my eyes anyway). When Tom got to the hospital, he put in a room with an older lady who started praying for him right away…she was admitted and shortly there after a young 20 something lady was brought in so Tom decided to “pay it back” and pray for her. She ended up re-dedicating her life to Christ in the end. WOW, can I just tell you what a shmuck I feel like for not continuing to trust God (after all my heartfelt declarations). He truly is always at work…and it’s not (always) about me. Will I ever get this down??

    • Wonderstruck. The only way to describe it. His timing is always good. WOW. Praying for you and Tom, today. Hug to you, Tara
