Reflecting on 21 Days of Wonder journey is a little overwhelming.
Am so thankful for the ways God showed up- every single day.
And, am so thankful for YOU and everything that you shared along the way.
The community that formed leaves me… well… wonderstruck.
We encouraged each other. We prayed for each other. We giggled with each other. And, we celebrated. Lots!
God unleashed his wonder in amazing ways.
The day we shared our three word prayers moved me to tears.
The day we all posted sunsets (even in rain and crazy weather) made me feel like we were part of a team determined to appreciate wonder across the world.
The day we shared our favorite music and I got so inspired by artists I’d never even heard of but now love.
The end of the journey was really bittersweet. I was thankful to have gone down the path with old friends and new friends. But, I didn’t want to loose the amazing community that had sprung up, seemingly overnight, determined to appreciate wonder in the smallest of details.
But, one of the most amazing things about wonder is that it’s not just confined to 21 Days. Now that we know where to look, we can find wonder in every circumstance.

Still have not finished my 21 day challenge but I am going to stick with it! I would also highly encourage everybody reading today to go for it and take the challenge! You will be moved to a deeper relationship with God; an overwhelming sense of His presence will flood your life. His love is like a river running wild; you can’t control or imagine where it can take you. Don’t think about it, jump in and let it over take you! You will be Wonderstruck at what He reveals and what you discover along the way.

I think making 2013 a year of wonder is a wonderful idea for many reasons. I am reading Wonderstruck again. Just because the 21 day challenge is over I am finding more examples of wonder and better examples. I love keeping track of them. I have had people ask me about it by posting things online. If I keep looking for wonder each day I will not forget to try to join a group doing the study or come up with a way to host the study myself. I am looking forward to this year wonder challenge.

Yes! A year of wonder.
Some years ago, I was disappointed with my analytical approach to faith. God is so much more than what I could every understand or comprehend, and I longed for more than occasional glimpses of his glory. I came across a quotation by Abraham Heschel: “I did not ask for success; I asked for wonder.” I wanted to be overwhelmed by wonder at big things, little things, by God. I knew what wonder was the word I was looking for. I got sidetracked by work and grad school and other concerns, but I never forgot this quotation. And I never forget my desire for wonder.
I ordered Wonderstruck when I came across it in a blog I was reading. (I can’t remember which one.)
This is my word for the year. This is my prayer for the year.
