Giveaway: ABC Scripture Cards by @lillightomine

This week, we’re giving away THREE copies of my sweet friend, Courtney DeFeo's ABC Scripture Cards. These beautifully designed cards are meant to be hung around your house as a reminder to memorize and teach Scripture to your families. The product is designed for the mom's style and the child's heart. I just adore these Scripture memory cards and want to share them with you this week. I even got a chance to ask Courtney some questions about her ministry:

Margaret: For readers who aren’t familiar with the you or your work, what is Lil Light of Mine?

Courtney: Lil Light O' Mine was created to empower moms and change little lives through innovation in the home. It's a website that provides relevant products to moms and a blog where real moms share practical advice about faith in the home. ABC Scripture Cards released as the first product and have been widely popular among moms all over the country.

Who, specifically, would benefit from the ABC Scripture cards?

ABC Scripture Cards are essentially scripture memory cards with a style that moms will love. They are perfect for the desk area or kitchen - or any place in the home that moms will pass and remember to teach. Moms of two-year-olds to teens have benefited from the cards getting creative with how they incorporate them into their family. The product comes with an easel for displaying all 26, a magnet to display just one on the fridge or others have framed them at home (size is 5x7) in nurseries and playrooms. They are meaningful birthday and baptism gifts for any intentional parent.

Psalm 91:4

What’s the greatest compliment you’ve received on the ABC Scripture Cards?

The biggest compliment I can receive is when customers return. So many of the moms that purchase my cards come back for 3-4 more for their friends. They often remark what a difference they are making in their homes - how scripture memory has become fun and easy - how the conversations have changed and how they are learning new truths with their kids. That was the goal!

What do you hope will happen in the reader’s heart and mind after they place the cards around their home and memorize the verses?

My heart has always been to empower moms that they can share God's word with their family in a fun way. I pray it's a tool that turns "daunting" to "doable." My heart is also for kids and their perception of Jesus. From an early age, I want them to know He loves them, He cares for them and the Bible isn't just filled with rules and fear. There are some precious, loving and wonderful things to learn about the God that made them.

To win one of three copies of the ABC Scripture Cards, leave a comment below. Winners will be selected and announced on Friday.

Congratulations to the winners: Laurie, Kim, and Bethany Kush

“The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.”

I often quote this when the kids are being mean to each other! Also quote it to myself!

  39. What a wonderful idea…and an authentic way to help nurture and develop a mature faith in our children at home or at school. I teach Kindergarten – 3rd grade inner city children at a private school in the San Francisco Bay Area. I can imagine numerous ways to use these in a classroom! You asked about a favorite verse…so many to choose from, but one that gets repeated quite frequentlly at home and at school is, “Forget yourself long enough to lend a helping hand.” Phil. 2:4 (Mes). As a family–whether at home or at school–we show our love for God by loving and serving others in many different ways.

  40. Honey Cunningham June 1, 2013 at 11:50 am

These are beautiful cards! I will remember these for future baby gifts. Favorite verse: Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

  41. These scripture memory cards are beautifully done! I’d love to win a set to display at my office, as I work with a group of great people, who while they are unsaved are “intrigued” that I am and are always asking questions about the things in my office…these would be a great addition. Their beauty are sure to capture the eye of these young artists.

  42. Carol McCracken June 1, 2013 at 12:04 pm

I would love to have these in my home…great way to do some memory work and they are so pretty. I think I would split them up and take some to work as I am in front of people all day in the Insurance agency…..

  43. I would like to win these scripture cards for my husband so he could put it on his desk at work and so he could walk daily with The Lord. I pray to God to touch my husband’s heart with one of these verses. Hopefully someday we could go to church together as a family.

    • But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen. (2 Peter 3:18 NIV)

  44. I love so many of them–it’s hard to choose just one! But one of our faves comes from Ephesians 4:2, “Be completely humble and gentle, be patient, bearing with one another in love.” Thank you for the generous giveaway!

  45. The cards are so lovely! And I’ve been wanting to get back into Scripture memory. I’d love to win a set of these!

There are so many powerful verses. I love so many! But I like to remind my kids that God is always for them. I want them to have no doubt that when they call Him, He will answer and He will show them the way. It says, “Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and incomprehensible things you do not know” (Jeremiah 33:3)
Thank you for this amazing giveaway!
