Creation beckons us to open our eyes to the wonders of God. Look for a place outside where all you can see is God’s creation. If you’re in an urban area, consider visiting a park and lying down under a tree where all you can see are its branches and slivers of sky above. Spend fifteen minutes simply sitting or resting in that place. Pay attention to the details—the textures, the colors, the intricate care with which God formed creation. Allow yourself to spontaneously respond to God in thanks, and worship—celebrating the wonders of creation all around.
Snap a photo of what you see and share it with everyone.

Brrrr! Hope you kept warm!
Last year was a rough year for me. A time of coming back, of renewing my faith in my Creator. And, while this journey started in January 2012 it wasn’t until our Summer Holidays that I began to really awaken to all the God has for me and I discovered that in nature. The waves tickling the shore, the leaves in the trees singing their wind swept song, the humming bird, its wings thrumming at the feeder. All of it, the wonder of God’s creation, I began to see in sharp focus when, while perched on a outcropping of rocks, I turned my face and my heart back to God and said yes. I’ve been looking for His beauty every day since then. I said YES to God… and He opened my eyes and my heart.
He has created some wonderful things! Thanks for sharing your favorites, Tonya!
Today we are going to share the wonder of God’s creation at the Pacific Grove Monarch Butterfly Sanctuary. It is so amazing to see thousands of monarch butterflies all in one location and to think of an amazing God who created them and put in them the instinct to migrate for survival. Those who study the butterflies don’t know how the butterfly knows to come to the same place year after year…generation after generation. Only God could do this! One of His wonders! Man can’t explain.. I think that is what makes it a “wonder”! So Cool!
If I can figure out how to upload or download (not sure which one it is…not computer savvy) I will share but if not you just have to imagine thousands of beautiful orange and black butterflies huddled together on the branches of majestic eucalyptus trees and when the sun shines on them they warm up and start flapping their wings and what once looked like dead brown wood comes alive with the colors of orange and black. It is an amazing experience and a definite creation WONDER! Blessings!
#LIVEWONDERSTRUCK today!
Mary, I bet that was beautiful! I would love to see pictures if you have them.
Did not get outside but I was blown away today (and not by the wind)

Such a beautiful picture, Philip. And what beautiful weather in the middle of the winter!
On a walk with my husband and our little Morkie Ber tonight I was Wonderstruck with the beauty of a tree which looked so much like a huuuuge spiderweb cupping a street light almost like a bowl. It was SO beautiful! Wish you could have all seen it with us! 🙂
Wow Kathleen! That sounds so cool! Wish I could have seen it to! Thanks so much for sharing.
